Aurora’s love of movement began with dance at the age of three and has continued ever since. She holds a BFA in Dance and a Pilates certification from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where her curiosity about the body deepened into a lifelong pursuit.
Initially, Aurora was drawn to Pilates to support her dance technique but she soon felt its other benefits. Not only did she feel stronger while dancing, but she also found less tension, more efficient movement patterns, and a better understanding of her alignment. Beyond its value as a cross-training tool, Pilates has enhanced her body awareness, allowing her to connect with movement on a more meaningful level. She finds great joy within the specificity of the practice.
In her sessions, Aurora strives to create a warm, welcoming environment promoting awareness, strength, and growth for every body. She believes movement should be joyful and uses vivid, imaginative cues to engage the mind and body in new ways. Her goal is to help each person leave class feeling more connected and confident than when they arrived.
