Meoka McBride
Lead Instructor
Meoka McBride was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. She received an esteemed Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance at Sam Houston State University in 2007.
After graduation, she moved to Houston where she pursued a professional dance and teaching career. She danced professionally with Urban Souls Dance Company as a principal dancer and was the Artistic Director for the dance programs at Lamar and Bellaire High School-both International Baccalaureate World Schools. She was also a leader with the Fine Arts Dance board for Houston ISD where she helped to launch new programs and revamp the district-wide dance festival. She resigned from teaching in June 2019 to pursue personal business ventures and Pilates instruction.
Meoka is a Pilates Instructor, Choreographer, Dancer, and Business Coach, with the necessary training and experience to ensure desired results for all events, classes, sessions, and workshops. She is a Talent Scout, as well as the founding Dance Team Director for Nex Pro; Houston's legendary, NBA accredited Pro-am basketball league.
To date, she has created #HEELSOUT®, a Ladies' Night curated to empower women through dance.
She is the mother of two cool boys and a former Athleta National Brand Ambassador. Meoka prides herself on providing services that are professional, memorable, fun, and client-centered.
