Paula started participating in sports as a child, playing tennis competitively into her teenage years. As a young adult, she began to work out regularly at the gym, participating in cardiovascular endurance activities and strength training. In order to improve her posture and reduce the pain from her scoliosis, Paula sought help from a personal trainer, chiropractors and physiotherapists. After many years, without much success, Paula discovered Pilates at Club Pilates Thornhill. Her posture and back pain have improved significantly. Her only regret is not participating in Pilates earlier in her life. She is hooked on Pilates and graduated in the Club Pilates Teaching Training Program so that she could instruct others who want to improve spinal alignment and reduce pain, while strengthening abdominals and improving pelvis health.
