Joie Thorne

Joie has spent her career in Education Technology- Specializing in Medical & Nursing education - working with Universities around the country to develop & deliver content, curriculum, & certification/licensure preparation. From Tyler, she studied dance in her upbringing and has always had a passion for movement & fitness. Pilates became a devoted personal practice sometime in 2020. With her personal experience feeling the results in the consistent movement, as well as the family within the Tyler Club Pilates community, she was inspired take her practice to the next level and become certified. Joie originally joined our community as a member but is now one of our amazing certified instructors! Joie holds a Master's of Business Degree in Health Administration and has two sons - her oldest is a Tattoo Artist at The National Tattoo Museum in Baltimore; her younger is in the Nursing program at UTTyler with the goal of working in ICU & Critical Care as a Nurse Practitioner.
