Jocelyn
Lead Instructor
Jocelyn is a retired Nurse of 14 years and the Lead Instructor at Club Pilates UTC. Originally from Sacramento, she has called Newport Beach home since 2021. After two decades of playing competitive soccer, Jocelyn suffered a C5-C6 herniated disc and vertebrae fracture, an injury that led her to discover the restorative power and strength-building benefits of Pilates.
Jocelyn’s classes are high-caliber, dynamic, and deeply intentional. She is known for her focus on the why behind each movement, educating clients on muscle engagement and how Pilates supports everyday function and long-term wellness. Her passion lies in helping clients achieve their goals with purpose and confidence through thoughtful class flows and precise technique. She loves motivating her clients, safely and effectively, to reach their highest potential.
Outside the studio, Jocelyn is often near the ocean or on the trails, enjoying freediving, running, and spending time with her two dogs, two cats, and bearded dragon. Nature, water, animals, and movement are the core of her lifestyle, and she brings that same holistic energy into every class she teaches. These passions, along with her own Pilates practice, continue to keep her grounded and inspired.
