Mary discovered Pilates in 2017 after many years teaching a variety of group exercise classes, and immediately become a Pilates enthusiast as she saw the difference that it made for her posture, strength, and overall well-being! Mary is a Registered Nurse and Health Professions Educator, and brings her healthcare and education background into her Pilates teaching. She loves to help clients who have specific physical challenges find ways that Pilates methods can help them bring better quality to their lives. She is a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) certified Pilates instructor with the 500 hour comprehensive training. She is certified in group exercise through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Athletics and Fitness Association of American (AFAA) and a registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through the Yoga Alliance. In 2021, Mary was elected to the Pilates Method Alliance Board of Directors.
