Fitness has always been a major part of my life. In fact, I have taught high school health and physical education for over 40 years in Cincinnati. After college, I began to attend some cardio classes and soon became hooked to workouts with movements choreographed to music. That inspired me to pursue both group fitness and spinning instructor certifications. However, in 2007, I was also looking for workouts which would strengthen my core muscles especially the lower back. That is when I started my Pilates journey by completing the instructor training program through Balance Body University. This extensive training includes knowledge in all aspects of the Pilates apparatus more specifically the reformer, chair, trapeze table, arc and mat. Additionally, I am certified in the Barre Above program. I enjoy training ALL levels of fitness: a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced client. My goal is to challenge all participants who come take classes at Club Pilates. I want the individual to feel good about their class experience while making that mind-body connection.
