Ashley's fitness journey originally started in yoga! After years of practicing and working in a yoga studio, Ashley learned about reformer Pilates from clients and instructors. She knew she wanted to teach after taking one class. Ashley became an instructor less than one year after taking that first class through Club Pilates Liberty Station in San Diego. She comes from a heavy science background after studying Neurobiology at the University of California, Berkeley, and working as a Spinal Cord Injury Researcher at the University of California, San Diego. Ashley likes to help others understand their body and proper biomechanics while kicking butt.
