Michaela Kochy has always had a passion for movement and wellness. Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance and Pre-Movement Science from Stockton University in 2023, she brings her extensive educational and personal background to her Pilates practice. At Stockton, Michaela had the privilege of studying under esteemed professors, including Beau Hancock, Rain Ross, and Caitlin Quinn Pittenger. These academic mentors significantly contributed to her deep understanding of human anatomy, kinesiology, and the biomechanics of movement, which form the foundation of her approach to Pilates instruction. In addition to her formal education, Michaela has completed the comprehensive 500-hour teaching program through Club Pilates, further refining her expertise in Pilates techniques, injury prevention, and postural alignment. She combines her knowledge of dance and movement science with Pilates principles to create personalized and effective routines for clients of all levels, helping them improve strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. Michaela's approach to teaching emphasizes the importance of mindful movement, core strength, and the long-term benefits of Pilates for both physical fitness and mental clarity. Her goal is to support each client in achieving optimal health and wellness, whether they are recovering from injury, enhancing athletic performance, or simply improving their daily functional movement. Outside of her work, Michaela is committed to maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle and continuously.
