1. What makes your favorite Club Pilates class format so special?
I absolutely love teaching Cardio Sculpt 1.5! It’s amazing to see such a vibrant, high-energy group come together for a fun, challenging workout. This class is a fantastic way for people to boost their cardiovascular health while enjoying a low-impact exercise. Plus, who doesn’t love a good horizontal jumping session?
2. What are your favorite pastimes outside of Pilates?
I thrive on staying busy and being deeply involved in our community, which is why teaching at CP Woodinville is so rewarding. It’s incredible to work alongside our amazing team at Woodinville and our sister studios, who see the value of creating a space for the community to grow.
When I’m not at the studio, I’m a full-time Naturopathic Medical student, passionately serving as the president of the campus sports medicine club and the treasurer for our local Naturopathic Medical Student Association chapter. I also love being a local Girl Scout Troop Leader and a member of the Cascade Canoe and Kayak Race Team. Each of these roles allows me to connect with our community in meaningful ways and stay active and engaged.
3. How do you hope your teaching will help others?
As a future physician, one of my biggest goals is to ignite a passion for movement in everyone. I want to challenge the misconception that exercises like Pilates are only for certain types of bodies or people. By breaking down these barriers, I hope to open the door for everyone to experience the incredible benefits that we see in our classes every day. My dream is to inspire a fresh perspective on life and a newfound love for exercise. I’m excited to see our community embrace and appreciate all the amazing things our bodies can do!
