Dee’s passion for Club Pilates is contagious! In 1994 Dee sustained a herniated cervical disc following a car accident. She was lost feeling in her forearms whenever she tilted her head back or lifted them. Physical therapy failed her and doctors recommended surgery. At that time a friend introduced Dee to Pilates, and the results were life-changing! After 3 months of attending Pilates regularly Dee was able to lift her arms above her head without pain and have neck motion.
In 2013 Dee knew it was time for a career change she wanted to share her passion and love for Pilates with others. Dee had been an owner for a successful medical transcription service for 25 years, and with start of voice recognition it was the perfect time to start a new career. Dee graduated from BASI as a Pilates instructor in 2014 and began her teaching career. In 2019 Dee was introduced to Club Pilates by a friend and immediately knew this was where she belonged. Dee completed her Bridge Training in Fall of 2019 and has been teaching with Club Pilates ever since. Dee’s life-long motto is it’s never too late to follow your dream!
