Thurs, June 13: Cadillac Refresher

with Cara Bonney

12p PT/3p ET

This Cadillac Refresher workshop will review or review your knowledge of Pilates Cadillac/Trap Table exercises and programming.

The Cadillac is a versatile piece of Pilates apparatus that can offer a way to work with injured or healthy clientele, from beginner to advanced clients. The Cadillac can be a complement to Mat and Reformer exercises and help find deeper connections in those movements.  It can also introduce different challenging moves from the push thru bar, trapeze, and fuzzy straps. We'll discuss how to incorporate the Cadillac into private training sessions to help your clients get the most out of their Pilates practice.

You can do most of the moves along with the instruction in the workshop if you have access to a Cadillac or a half trap/mat-tower unit. If you do not have access during the workshop you can still observe and review the moves through the zoom interaction.

We will experience exercises using the Roll-Down Bar, Push-Thru Bar, Trapeze Bar, Leg and Arm Springs, and Fuzzy Loops.  As we review the movements, we will also discuss how they could be modified for clients with injuries or special conditions with the use of props.
