I started practicing Pilates in 2023 after years of dance and car wrecks left me with chronic pain and my only regret is that I didn’t start sooner! The ability to combine rehabilitative movements with strength training all in one place is what initially drew me in and is probably the reason why the Reformer is my favorite piece of equipment to use in my practice as well as to teach. It didn’t take long after starting my own Pilates journey to decide that I wanted to become an instructor and help others feel like their best selves both physically and mentally. My favorite thing about Pilates is how customizable it is; whether it’s challenging the body after a muscle plateau or introducing a fitness regimen after a long time off, I love the ability to tailor workouts that are fun, challenging, and accessible for everyone!
