Master Trainer / Instructor
Mari is a seasoned ballet dancer and Certified Pilates Instructor with more than 35 years of experience in the world of movement and fitness education. Her journey in Pilates instruction was profoundly shaped by mentorship under a Physical Therapist, which enabled her to develop a specialized approach for clients needing post-rehabilitation care and for those with health conditions such as osteoporosis and scoliosis. Mari’s dedication is driven by her passion for empowering others to improve their movement, elevate their well-being, and step into a stronger, more confident version of themselves.
Mari currently serves as a Master Trainer for Club Pilates and is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor. Her expertise encompasses movement analysis, posture correction, and functional alignment, making her a sought-after resource for clients looking for personalized and effective instruction. In addition to her Pilates credentials, Mari is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM®) Certified Personal Trainer, holding advanced specializations in corrective exercise, women’s fitness, senior fitness, weight loss, stretching and flexibility, and fitness nutrition. She also holds certification in TRX® Suspension Training, further broadening her scope as a fitness professional.
Mari’s Pilates background is diverse and extensive. She has completed specialized training in Fletcher Pilates Towelwork, Barrework, and Floorwork, and is certified in Pilates for Buff Bones® and Barre Above. Her commitment to ongoing education is evident in her completion of Carolyne Anthony’s Women’s Health & Exercise Certification™ in 2017 and the Polestar Pilates Scoliosis & Spinal Conditions program in 2024. This rich foundation allows her to address a wide range of client needs, from rehabilitation to performance enhancement.
