From a young age, Kelly Walker's passion for fitness was ignited through her years as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader. After earning a BA in Economics from the University of California Davis, Kelly embarked on a journey that seamlessly merged her love for athleticism and helping others. Transitioning into a full-time personal trainer role with the YMCA in Weddington, NC, Kelly began her career dedicated to empowering individuals on their fitness journeys. Her commitment to continuous growth led her to explore various avenues of exercise, from conquering marathons to pushing boundaries in Iron Man races across the United States. In 2011, Kelly discovered the transformative power of Pilates and pursued certification in mat, reformer, and apparatus through Balanced Body University. This marked a pivotal moment as Kelly found her calling in teaching Pilates, driven by her unwavering passion for the practice. Joining Club Pilates Waxhaw in August 2021, Kelly quickly rose through the ranks, demonstrating exceptional leadership and expertise. Recognized for her dedication and skill, she was swiftly promoted to Lead Instructor, where she thrived in fostering a supportive and dynamic studio environment. Kelly's journey with Club Pilates has evolved further, as she now serves as a Pilates Master Trainer for multiple studios in south Charlotte, NC, and Montgomery, AL. In this role, she not only continues to inspire and educate clients but also empowers aspiring instructors to share the transformative benefits of Pilates with others. With a heart dedicated to empowering others and a spirit fueled by her love for movement, Kelly Walker continues to make a profound impact on the fitness community, one Pilates session at a time.

  • Part A is a 265-hour Mat and Reformer programme — you'll graduate qualified to teach Intro, Level 1, Level 1.5, and Restore classes. Comprehensive is 450 hours covering the full apparatus suite, qualifying you to teach all nine Club Pilates class types. Part A graduates can add the remaining apparatus modules at any time to become Comprehensively certified.
