Meet Your Master Trainer!

Bex Burton
Bex Burton is a Nationally Certified, Master Pilates Instructor, and Joyful Rebellion Coach who helps midlife women rediscover their radiance & vitality through deep connection, creative self-expression, and nourishing movement.

Bex’s professional journey as a movement educator began when she returned to dance in her early twenties after nearly a decade's hiatus. Immersing herself in ballet once again, she quickly found herself teaching; through this renewed connection to movement, she discovered Pilates. What began as a personal practice soon evolved into a lifelong passion for embodiment, study, and instruction.

She earned her Mat Certification in 2005 with Teri Lee Steele of Steele Pilates (NYC), and continued to support Ms. Steele as a Mentor Instructor for new teachers in training from ‘09 -‘12. She completed her Equipment Certification in 2007 with Lawson Harris of Lawson Harris Pilates & Personal Training (NYC).

Her continued education includes advanced study with Pilates luminaries Kathy Grant, Lolita San Miguel, Irene Dowd, Ellie Herman, and Kelly Kane, as well as completion of the Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injury Intensive (FAMI) through the Kinected Center, NY, and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. She became a Master Trainer through Club Pilates in 2025.

Over the past two decades, Bex has taught individuals and groups in a wide range of settings, including dance and yoga studios, gyms, universities, boutique fitness spaces, and Club Pilates. She has supported diverse populations with Pilates for fitness, functional strength, mobility, and rehabilitation. She is especially adept at meeting each client’s individual needs with skill, presence, a little humor, and a lot of care.

Bex currently serves as a Mentor Instructor at the four Club Pilates studios in Boulder County, CO, helping evaluate and coach over 35 new and seasoned instructors in the Club Pilates way.

Bex brings a dynamic and playful perspective to teaching and training, drawing from over twenty years of movement instruction spanning multiple modalities, an embodied understanding of anatomy in motion, and deep empathy for the adult learning process.

Studio owners trust her not only for her technical expertise, but also for her creative leadership, emotional intelligence, and wholehearted commitment to growth, in and out of the studio.

When she is not teaching Pilates, she’s on the Reformer taking class, dancing on roller skates, or camping in the wilderness with her honey.
