Meet Your Master Trainer!

Nandini Basu & Eve Salazar
Nandini Basu has been a teacher with Club Pilates for 10 years. Her love of Pilates started with her first class at Club Pilates Rancho Bernardo in 2012, and she hasn't stopped loving it since then!
In 2020, Nandini became a Master Trainer to share her love of teaching with others who want to pursue the path of becoming a certified Pilates teacher.
Nandini spent many years in the world of corporate training and development, which helped prepare her for becoming a teacher and Master Trainer for Club Pilates.
Nandini lives in Costa Mesa, California, and spends her free time traveling, enjoying beach walks and hiking trails, and discovering new coffee shops.

Eve’s introduction to Pilates began in the 90’s for injury prevention training as a ballet dancer, cheerleader, and gymnast. After the birth of her daughter in 2005, Pilates was the game-changer in her post-partum recovery which involved: healing from significant internal pelvic floor trauma, a split abdominal wall, a meniscus tear in her knee, and losing 50+ pounds—recovered from it all in 6 months’ time thanks to Pilates! Eve has been teaching Pilates since 2006 and she opened and ran her own studio: Barrel & Spring Pilates from 2015-2020, where she privately taught high-level competitive equestrians at The Paddock Riding Club in Los Angeles. Eve has co-taught teacher trainings and led Intensives for Fletcher Pilates. She has been mentoring new teachers since 2014. Eve holds a Nutrition Science Certificate from Stanford University as well as being a Level 3 Oov Practitioner, and the mother of a collegiate volleyball player (UCSC). Eve is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) and her #1 passion is helping new Pilates teachers segue into a Pilates teaching career. She is currently the Lead Instructor/Master Trainer at Club Pilates Glendale and La Cañada Flintridge locations, in CA.
