Kim is a Master Pilates Instructor (Pilates Teacher of Teachers) and scientist with a Masterâs Degree in Exercise Physiology. She teaches workshops and mentors fitness / Pilates professionals. Her combined work in science and movement gives her a rich base from which to teach.
Kim started teaching ďŹtness in 1993 as a Physical Fitness Coordinator while she was in the Navy and discovered Pilates in 1995 after her ďŹrst pregnancy. In 1999 she got out of the Navy to pursue a full-time career in the ďŹtness world. Kim is comprehensively certiďŹed through STOTT PILATESÂŽ & The National Pilates CertiďŹcation Program. Kim specializes in Injury & special populations, has a Masterâs Degree in Exercise Science from the University of NH, is a Functional Aging SpecialistÂŽ, Wellness Coach, TRX instructor and owned her own Pilates and post-rehab studio for 10 years. Kim has also worked for the Military, hospitals, physical therapists and in health clubs & studios. Kim now primarily teaches and mentors Pilates teachers. Kim loves to be outside and feels a special connection to the mountains- she enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling and spending time with family, friends and dogs.
