Meet Your Master Trainer!

Sonia Rinder
Sonia was born and raised in Modesto, CA. She was classically trained in dance through Juline School of Dance, and continued with teaching and performance experience with their resident RDA dance company. She was privileged to be exposed to many leading dance teachers and choreographers;Gretchen Volgelzang, Ron Cunningham, Alan Scofield, and Pilates with Elizabeth Larkam. Sonia holds a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, where she studied dance, psychology, and Pilates with Diane Diefenderfer. Ultimately her love of movement and desire to deepen her practice in Pilates led her to the Pilates Instructor Certification program at Orange Coast College. Teaching since 2003 she has gained valuable experience working with members who have arthritis, post surgery rehab, fibromyalgia, pre and post natal, cancer, dancers and college athletes. Her fitness background also includes certificates in, NCPT, Barre Above, TRX, Les Mills Body Pump, and AFAA Group Fitness. A move to Columbus, OH in 2014, allowed Sonia to pursue her goal of becoming a Master Trainer which she completed with Club Pilates in 2020. What she loves most about teaching and training is the connections made with each client and the inspiration gleaned from sharing a few invaluable hours in their lives. When she isn't teaching, you can find Sonia enjoying time with her family, their pets, or one of her many crafty and artistic pastimes.
