About Me:
I developed a Pilates practice while training as a professional ballerina with Kansas City Ballet, the Sarasota Ballet Company, and the Albany Berkshire Ballet. My Pilates education continued at the UMKC Conservatory for Music and Dance, where I earned my B.F.A in Ballet Performance. I later returned to UMKC as an adjunct faculty member, teaching Body Alignment and Conditioning. I am comprehensively trained through Classical Pilates Education (600 hour classical program) and the D.K. Body Balancing Method (400 hour contemporary program). After dealing with my own ankle injury from ballet and completing an internship at the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, I became passionate about injury prevention and rehabilitation. I love to help clients feel their best, so they can be successful in daily activities. Knowing each member's name and specific health goals is important to me. As a Master Trainer with Club Pilates and with over 20 years of teaching experience, I am continually excited to share the Pilates method with clients, train future instructors, and watch the Club Pilates community grow in such a positive way.
